We will gather, learn about and make medicine with common weeds such as plantain, dandelion, chickweed, violet, skullcap, wild carrot, goldenrod along with many others. Many of the herbs we will discuss can support different systems in your body such as the respiratory, nervous and digestive systems.
Join holistic practitioner and herbalist, Bonnie Rogers to make herbal preparations which may include tinctures, oils, vinegars etc which you will take home with you. We will also enjoy a nutritious tea.

An herbal salve is a mixture of plants which are infused in oil with beeswax. The process brings out the soothing healing properties of these plants. In this class we will work with a few plants which we will collect on the farm. We’ll then go in and make our own salves.
Each participant will take home both a first aid remedy salve perfect for falls on the playground, chapped lips, bites, burns, cuts, and stings that they can use immediately, in addition to the preparation they will make that day
Cost $35 or 2 for $60
